
June 12 - We left around 8:30am. We drove 12 hours to Port Huron, MI. We stayed at Port Huron township RV Park for the night.
June 13 - We stopped at the St. Clair River before making our way over the Blue Water Bridge into Canada.
We made it to our Campground, Glen Rouge, on the west side of Toronto. After checking in, we went to the Toronto Zoo.
This is a nice zoo. It is a BIG zoo. We did a lot of walking.
June 14 - We took the GO train to Toronto to see the Hockey Hall of Fame. While there we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and the water front.
June 15 - We left early in the morning and headed to
Niagara
Falls. We stayed on the Canadian side and went on
Maid of the Mist and
Journey Behind the Falls. After numerous hour
there, we decided to cross the border
back into the US. We did get a short inspection of the RV,
but it did not take too long. We decided to just
head toward Cooperstown
at that time. We made it to Cooperstown just before dark.
We parked
in the "red" parking lot for the night. Coordinates N42

June 16 - After waking up and eating breakfast, we caught the trolley from the
Red Lot (N42 41.9269 W79
8.1936) to the
Baseball Hall of Fame. Today is
the Hall of Fame Game between the San Diego Padres and the
Chicago Cubs.
There was a parade in town also.
The game ended up
getting rained out. There was lightning and hail to go with it.
Since the weather was so bad. We
decided to pack it up and head back to the RV. We soon left for the Boston
Area.
June 18 - After spending the day at the conference, I went to
Fenway Park
for the evening. The Red Sox were out of town. We
got a brief tour of the park.
June 19 - After another day at the conference. I went to the Prudential Center for a gathering at the "Top of the Hub."
June 20 - The last day of the conference. It is a half day. So,
after the conference we decided to walk the Freedom Trail.
After the Freedom Trail, we took a
water taxi from the
USS Constitution to the
to the New England Aquarium.
June 21 - We went to the Boston Waterfront and went Whale Watching.
June 22 - We packed up the RV and headed for New York. We made a short
stop in Providence, Rhode Island.
We pulled into Liberty Harbor RV Park about 4PM. This "park" is across the
Hudson River from
Lower Manhattan Island.
June 23 - We headed out around 10AM on the PATH Train to the
New York -
World Trade Center
stop. We then took a transfer
subway to Times Square. We then walked to the
Empire State Building.
After that we took another subway
train to the Brooklyn Bridge. We then went to
China Town. We ate
dinner in a small restaurant in China Town.
June 24 - We took the PATH train to the World Trade Center stop. We then
walked to Battery Park to catch the ferry to the
Statue of Liberty.
June 25 - We headed out about 9am. We took the PATH to 33rd street and
then the Subway to Coney Island. We went to the
New York Aquarium. The
kids then rode the Cyclone. After that we ate at
Nathan's. We then went to
the beach for a while.
The water was coooold.
We then went back to the RV. We packed up and left for home. We
wanted to get a head start
on the long trip back to St. Louis.
June 26 - After divining to
the Pittsburgh area the night before. I woke up early and started the long
drive back to St. Louis.
We pulled into the driveway about 5pm.
